NOTE: This was served in CASK form

A: Dark chocolate brown body, weak head (probably due to cask)

S: Not much smell, if anything a small amount of coffee and coconut aroma existed

T: Solid porter, properly full bodied with a prominent dark roasted coffee flavor present. Hints of coconut, chocolate flavor blends very well with the coffee flavor. Pleasing flavor lingers for a while.

M: Not too heavy, not too light. Definitely what a porter should feel like.

O: Definitely one of the better porters I've had. Much of that stems from the coffee and chocolate flavoring. I will definitely drink it again if I can find it.

Smoked porter with cocoa nibs and "golden roast" coffee served from a cask at TCT (SC).

Coffee dominates both the aroma and the flavor. Fortunately, it is good coffee. Medium roast coffee. There is some dark bread flavor with the coffee. Light smoke almost disappears behind the coffee flavors.
