a bit sweaty aroma. yellow body. dry but decent hop taste. On tap at the source, Liberty Station. Something worth a try if you are here. Would like more hop aroma.

On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a hazy dark golden-orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and citrus juice aromas. Taste is much the same with candied citrus zest and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with awesome citrus forward hop characteristics all around.
Serving type: on tap.

Had on draft at liberty station 2/8 2015
Appearance: an enticing, clear, golden orange. Wispy head that quickly dissipated.
Smell: big tropical aromas sweet faint boozy smell.
Taste: smooth sweet tropical fruity goodness precedes a good amount of bitterness for an imperial IPA. The malt at the end is subtle, not prominent. A little bit of alcohol at the very end.
Mouth: medium carbonation.
Overall: a fantastic imperial IPA. Very tropical. Very bitter. Great kick at the end.

Poured from draft into an 8oz stemmed glass.
Appearance – Deep Gold with an off white foam.
Nose – Passion fruit, kiwi, guava, pineapple, grapefruit, with some overripe melon and dank grassy good times!!!
Taste – Nose carries over big time with lots of citrus, tropical fruit, and melon to back it up.
Palate – Bitterness lingers, but the intense fruit character compliments it nicely.
Overall – This beer is very deceptive and extremely drinkable for being 9%. Huge fruit flavors dominate throughout this lovely hop bomb.
