Clear darker gold body with a finger of sticky white head.
Sweet cherries, spicy and bretty yeast, wood, and a kiss of bourbon.
On the flavor the red wine barrels peek out a bit more for me. Plenty of cherries and the slightest hint of tartness. Heavy dose of yeasties and a little bourbon warmth.
Medium body and carbonation that ends somewhat dry.
Really interesting beer.
