June 2nd, 2015 - Not sure what a Pekko is, but it makes for a nice and slightly sweet IPA. With a slightly hazy amber color, and a light, floral and tangy aroma, it is most decidedly marked by pear and elderflower. And the tang is sort of lactic. The body is surprisingly thick, nice and fairly sweet, with a little more white grape and pear available here, and a light pear aftertaste. It's a semi-sweet beer, with enough happiness to offer a robust pairing against the fruity notes.
May 3rd, 2015 - The Lupulin Loops come and go here at the Southpark location, and each is a special character. The ADHA 87 is also a stand out, knock out beer. The scent is citrus forward with lime, cayenne pepper and black peppercorn, and then wreathed in kiwi and a very strange hop profile. The flavor is a reflection of the aroma but sweeter with some unripe bananas and the vexing appearance of bell peppers. The aftertaste is smoother, but equally strange as it introduces sesame seed.

On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest, earth, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with grapefruit juice, earth, and pine needle flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice mix of citrus, earth, and herbal hop qualities.
Serving type: on tap.
