On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a clear copper with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, earth, dirt, caramel, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, earth, dirt, burnt caramel, and onion and garlic hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth and hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is very earth, dirt, and herbal forward with the hops used in this one.
Serving type: on tap.
