Color is the pale rosé of "Eye of the Swan" orangey-pinkish wine. Unfortunately it's mostly flat in the glass. Big woody and spicy aroma. On tap at LIberty Station.
This has the most powerful perfumey flavor. So spicy but so woody. Maybe it's just the jolt of pure rye in a beer without much hoppy flavor. Intriguing and remarkably aromatic. But then, as usual for Stone, the gratuitous bitter bite sinks in. This is one to try for the educational experience but it's only slightly drinkable.
