On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus juice, earth, lemon bar, and lemon candy aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus fruit, citrus juice, citrus zest, and lemon candy flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a great mix of general citrus and distinct lemon qualities.
