On tap at the Stone Company Store in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a clear dark gold with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thick swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of coffee bean, brewed coffee, cream, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with brewed coffee, cream, earth, and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with coffee characteristics that overpower the IPA qualities of the base beer.
Serving type: on tap.

On tap at twisted oak.
Poured into a 13 oz tulip.
Noticeably yellow compared to ipas. Smells of delicious roasted coffee- like when you are in bed and someone else is brewing coffee.
Taste is pure coffee. If you like coffee you will love it. Otherwise, coffee overpowers all else.
