Draft at Bitter Creek. Copper pour, small frothy head. Woody, puny aroma. Malts become a bit more prevslent in the taste. A bit more like the DIpAs we know and love today.

22 oz. Bomber
Pours a very nice clean/clear golden orangy color, very nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, citrus, pine notes. The taste is hoppy, citrusy, piney, nice sweetness. Full Body, ABV hidden very well, nice chewyness, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

A 22oz bomber with a bottled on date of 8.2016
L - Copper and cloudy with no clarity, 1 finger of head and some nice lace retention on the glass
S - Big citrus aroma, malty and sweet
T - Like the aroma, a nice citrus and pineapple flavor, with a huge sweet malty backbone. Booze is well hidden. Very tasty!
F - Full bodied, well carbonated
O - Another great DIPA anniversary beer. Happy 10th (In this year of the 20th!)

Picked up a bomber from Craft Beer Hop Stop 10-1-16. Bottled on 8/25/16 but has been in the beer fridge since purchase.
Beer poured orange with a nice white head that has some great hang time.
Nose is fresh citrus hops.
Taste is a wonderful blend of citrus and tropical hops melding nicely with a massive malt backbone.
Mouthfeel is full and smooth.
Overall this recipe has held up very well over the last 10 years. Reminds me a bit of Hop Slam!

It's been 10 years since Stone released their 10th anniversary IPA, and as I was starting to drink beer because I turned 21 in the year of its release, I shied away from higher alcohol beers. With a chance to pretend I was 21 again, I took the opportunity and popped open the cap. On to the beer:
The head retains very well above while a dark copper/toasted orange liquid waited below. Aromatic it was, but not at the same high level as a Ruination. The smell of orange, tangerine, and dry caramel took me in to
what would be a wild ride. It was surprisingly boozy, but also delicious. Bready with caramel, also with orange and tangerine in high volumes as the booze warms the chest. It's a medium-full bodied beer, hoppy and boozy, and if that's your style, now is the time to grab the encore of Stone 10th Anniversary IPA.

A 22 oz bomber, bottled on 25th August 2016, to be enjoyed by 23rd November 2016 (drank on the 27th, so I’m four days late). Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Appearance: It poured a clear copper amber colour with a big three finger slightly off white colour with great retention and nice lacing.
Aroma: Tropical pineapple with touches of mango followed by citrusy grapefruit and mandarin, pine and a hint of caramel.
Taste: Caramel biscuit malt with a blast of tropical stone fruits, bitter citrusy mandarin and its zest with notes of pine and citrus pith.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and boozy on the finish.
Overall: This was nice, with my only minor complaint being that I’m not too fond of a boozy feel on IPAs or Double IPAs in this case. Other than that, I found it enjoyable.
