Poured on tap at the Berlin brewery. It was labeled as a prototype and listed as an Amber session-style Arrogant Bastard. It was a slightly hazy and muted Amber/Red but bright highlights around the edges, Head was slightly creamy with not much retention. Aroma and taste were good and had notes of pine, citrus, and caramel malts, but was fairly mild compared to the "big brother". Hop bitterness was balanced and while I thought this was certainly a drinkable Amber Ale, I feel it needs just a bit more hoppy punch, especially in the aroma.
