This one is "Enjoy By 01.01.20"
From the bottom of the can: "PACKAGED RVA 11/20/19 10:40"
Appearance: The body is gold and has a mild haze. The head is very large, white, frothy, dense, and shows very little signs of receding. Excellent lacing.
Aroma: Up front there is a bit of cabbage and some garlic cloves.
Taste: Up front there is a lot going on, with some garlic flavor and a floral earthiness that hits the mouth like a very strong freight train of flavor. After this there is a pleasant fruity character that comes in with some mango and quite a bit of peach. It finishes with a strong tangerine pith flavor. There is a lot going on in the flavor here, and although the flavor choices seem to shotgun the palate, it is nice.
Mouthfeel: Bitterness hits the palate from the outset, then there is this raspy smooth bitterness that comes in. It finishes rough like water rapids but also clean by the same waters.
Overall: For this particular series (01.01.20) it's a pretty good beer. Some of it seems to be hit or miss but mostly it is due to the over-saturation of character by shotgunning flavors rather than the laser precision of specifying the flavors you want. It's like a casserole for IPAs. I might pick the series up again from time to time to see how it is changing but for this iteration I would probably pass on it.

Slightly different from the regular Enjoy By... appearence was "hazier"...if that' a word, than typical. Nonetheles, this was the standard D/IPA goodness Enjoy By is known for and as a native Virginian, an excellent brew to represent the "Olde Dominion"!
