The aim of this experimental, hop-centric series is to demonstrate just how dramatically a single hop can impact a beer. We’re going to periodically fire off a variety of single-hopped variations of this IPA for some good brewing fun! Empty the bright tank with one. Reload it with another batch. Rinse. Reload. Repeat. We invite you to enjoy along with us.

12oz bottle from the Stone IPA mix pack
Nonice IPA glass
Light pale amber body with some well conditioned clarity. Thick and soapy medium white head with some noticeable lacing that hugs the glass.
Very floral with citrus peel, lemony hops, and a touch of sticky pine needle. There is some malt sweetness to note as well. The taste is very floral and piney up front with some lemony citrus notes on the back end - some grapefruit iand stone fruit like esters. A nice amount of hop bite to this one but not in a bad way. There's a solid bready malt backbone as well.
Medium body with a moderate amount of hop bitterness and resinous linger. Fairly juicy with a drying crisp finish.
This is a pretty solid IPA. floral, piney, and citric with a moderate high level of scrubbing bitterness. Nice showcase of the Loral hops
The highlight from the mix pack. I enjoyed this more than original Stone IPA.

Golden color with a thick two finger head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of white grapes, lots of flowers, a bit of yellow fruits and other fresh herbal scents.
Flavor with predominant notes of flowers from noble hops, also herbaceous, some spices and white wine. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation.
This felt as I was having fresh hop cones with as much floral notes as possible. American IPA with beef up noble hops.

Not feeling it. Smells like trash juice, and tastes like garlic or onion. Drinkable but not my steez.

Picked up a single at Happy Valley BevMo 3-18-17 for $3.29. Enjoy by 4-18-17 but stored in the beer fridge since purchase.
Beer poured a golden orange with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose had hints of earthy and floral hops.
Taste was pilsner like. Earthy and floral hops over a elevated malt base with no lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall this brew unfortunately was past its prime but still a pretty decent brew. Probably knocked down .25 points in most categories. My takeaway is that this would be a nice IPL like beer fresh!
