Pours a golden straw color with two big fingers of head. The nose and flavor are dominated by a floral fruitiness that is more reminiscent of a lager than an ale.

12 oz. Can
Canned: 02/04/19
Enjoy By: 06/04/19

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice clean/clear dark orangy color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which leaves some very nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, guava), piney. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, guava), nice pineyness. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew. Glad to see it around here.

12 oz can- Pours lightly hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is hops, citrusy, dank, floral, piney, some malt to balance, but typical Stone very hop forward. The taste is more balanced, new world hops mixed with malt, pixie sticks, floral, light caramel and a maltiness that isn't obtrusive. Not my go to style of IPA, but it's good.

On tap. Poured a clear, golden-orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of citrus notes, toasted caramel and pine. Sweet caramel taste with a citrusy kick.

Orange brew with a finger and a half of dense, foamy off white head. Smells like pine and citrus with a orangy sweetness. Tastes malty and fruity up front with citrus as the main flavor. Finishes piney and bitter.

Poured a light, seethru golden body with great head and lace sheath. The aroma is piney and oily with hints of tropical fruits. Smooth, clean, dry, crisp, light, mixes an oily, earthy, dirty hops with bits of sweet malts and grapefruits with crisp finish.

Clear, dark gold in color with a creamy white head. Good retention and lacing.
Aromas and flavors of iced tea, lemon zest, pink grapefruit, grapefruit peel; clean, crisp cracker malt with honey; and a lightly dry, lightly bitter finish.
A great new IPA from Stone! Very clean, crisp, and dry; refreshing and pungently hoppy.

Poured from a single serving can into a tulip

Pours crystal-clear medium gold with one finger of head, limited lacing.

Solid, though muted, aromas. Lemon, grapefruit and grassy notes. The malts are more subdued in this one.

The flavor is malt forward, with both grapefruit and dank hop notes. No alcohol discerned. Solid.

The feel is medium bodied with decent finish, but so-so carbonation.

Stone is pumping out IPA after IPA with different names, but not-so-remarkable presence. I've said it before--I can't remember a "bad" Stone brew...but lately, nothing is standing out.

Pours aneffervescent gold with 2+ fingers of rocky pearl colored head. Lovely lacing a little better than average lacing

S: Bready, floral, leafy hops

T: Grassy, floral, a little lemon up front, plus dryness. Leady hops, dryness, a little lime, along with bready sweetness as this warms. finishes dry with a little bready sweetness , lime & leafy hops

MF: Medium body, fairly lively carbonation, decent balance

Pretty drinkable, but not very memorable, too many good IPAs out there, Stone has hit some clunkers lately on IPAs & in general

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 2/11/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, green pepper, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, green pepper, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, onion, green pepper, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome Centennial/El Dorado profile. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; with a great clean balancing pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on West coast style example as expected.
