Moxee lies nestled in Yakima Valley, the very real paradise of hop production in the American Pacific Northwest. Stone Moxee Gold IPA is loaded with Centennial and of course El Dorado hops, all sourced from the fruitful bines of CLS Farms. The valley itself may be mostly green, but its bounty of hops are as good as gold.

L-hazy golden color...white head..
S-Floral, lemons, citrus, stone fruits
T-Lemons, pineapple, citrus....I think the hop bill here. Old school IPA...hope forward...not sweet.
F-Medium bodied...nice little bitterness on the finish..
O-This is very enjoyable despite being three months past its enjoy by date. Would love to try it fresh.

I tried this off the tapper at Average Joe's Tap House and Grill in Powell, Ohio. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had floral hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with potpourri hop and hints of anise. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's an ok beer.

L: Had this on-tap Capital Ale House - Innsbrook, poured into a pint glass. Had a golden yellow color and a mostly cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of creamy, fairly long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very good aroma of hops, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, malt, and pine.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a good shot of citrus fruit (lemon, especially), a decent amount of hops (a big component), some dank pine notes, and some tropical fruit (mango, passionfruit). A sharp, light, and hoppy flavor. It's good balance between hops and fruit, though the hops do have the upper hand. Tasty stuff.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Another solid IPA from Stone. Worth a look.

Poured out of a 12 oz. can into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a clear, medium golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continually rising to the beer's surface. Has a fluffy looking white head that's well over an inch thick when first poured with excellent retention. Aromas of some bready malts and loads of dank, piney, earthy, and citrusy/fruity hops are found here. The taste is very similar, with some bready malts followed by tropical, floral fruit hop flavors of mango, citrus, and melon along with some piney, dank hop notes too. Good balance of flavors, although the hop flavors do dominate a bit overall. And that's just fine for my taste buds! Has a somewhat crisp, also smooth and slightly creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly dry aftertaste. Another excellent IPA from Stone.

Hazy gold with a huge four finger bone color head. Rings of lace form as the head slowly drops.
Smell is tropical fruit and bready malt.
Taste is tropical fruit mango and bready malt.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is lightly dry and mildly bitter.
Overall a tasty IPA that I would call juicy. Canned 3/07/19 so 3 months old.
