CAN
Ruby-brown; coffee grounds with some dark cherries + brownie; chocolate cake, a good coconut dose, some red berries, and gentle coffee; almost medium + smooth.

Feathery - definitely a porter. And as much as coffee appears in the nose, coconut is successfully in the body. Other flavor notes give this real depth. Much better than most Stone or coconut porters.

L: Jet black color, three finger brown head, nice lacing, no visible carbonation.
S: Chocolate, coffee, sweet. Nice.
T: Chocolate, coffee, sweet, slightly bitter on the back end. Coconut is hidden quite deep but still, very nice!
F: Light to medium bodied, lots of flavor.
O: While there is a slight disappointment for the lack of more prominent coconut flavor, this porter is actually pretty good.

Tasted at Echarle Huevos. Pours a dark brown colour, medium head with good retention. Poor lace.
Aroma of coffee, some chocolate and a hint of coconut, but you have to look for it.
Medium bodyCreamy texture, good carbonation. Sweet finish with some bitternes.
Taste of coffee, cocoa and , again, if you look for it, some coconut.
Just good.

Pours a pitch black coloration with a large, foamy head. Smell is dominated by roasted malt and coffee, with lighter notes of coconut and chocolate. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by roasted malt and a rich, espresso coffee note, with further notes of coconut, chocolate and a certain earthy hoppiness and just a hint of tobacco. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a quite a nice porter, although the focus is clearly more on the coffee than the coconut, which is fine by me personally. Nicely balanced and quite enjoyable.
