Pours a clear golden coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of biscuity malt and herbal, grassy hops with some light fruity orchard/berry notes of peach and gooseberry as well. Taste follows the nose, with a very herbal, grassy, but also very slightly floral, hop character and fruity notes of peach, gooseberry and tangerine, as well as light biscuity malt and some mild peppery spice. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and some herbal notes lingering in the aftertaste, with a light booziness coming through as well. Full mouthfeel with a medium/rich body and medium carbonation.
This is quite a unique brew due to its rather herbal and bitter character and while it feels a little unbalanced, I still find it rather enjoyable because of that unique character that is almost reminiscent of alpine herbs. I would bet money that there a copious amounts of Polaris in here.
