Best by 05/30/19, RVA built. Poured into a Duvel tulip.
Light amber with 1-2 finger frothy off-white head with good retention and lacing.
Strong grapefruit, pine, and herbal grassy notes with honeysuckle. Vinous character overall.
Flavor is intense with grapefruit pith, lemon/lime, lemongrass, and herbal earthy notes mid-palate with a lot of winey white grape in the finish and aftertaste. Malt base is only supporting but substantial with solid pale malt graininess. Bitterness is medium-high at least.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied but finishes very dry with even carbonation.
A solid IPA with lot of intensity and bitterness but not the most user-friendly hop profile in the flavor.

12 oz bottle from the Wall of Beer (Clemson, SC; $1.99) with, apparently, no date stamp.
Pours slightly hazy, light copper with a bone colored head of moderate size and life that leaves ample sticky lacing clinging to the glass.
Aroma: hops and more hops with tropical fruit and white wine notes.
Flavor: hop forward with a strong fruity flavor with faint hints of wine, tangerines, and grapefruit. Moderately bitter for style.
Feel: medium+ body with medium carbonation and obvious alcohol.

Bottled 1/29/19
Appearance is light copper with a finger of foam
Aroma gives off a lot of orange and herbs, quite pleasant
The taste is pretty average, a little more hop bite than I expected for a single hop brew, some stone fruit in the background, pine notes in the aftertaste
Finishes mostly dry, slightly slick on the back of the throat
Overall just an okay ipa, nothing spectacular. Would drink again, but would not buy again
