Poured from a magnum into a Jolly Pumpkin tulip. #14 of Stone Berlin's 'Groundbreaking Collaborations'.
L: Slightly hazed golden amber pour with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Great retention and lacing.
S: Honey and spice.. strong herbal character... sage, juniper berry/gin, and botanicals.
T/F: Follows the nose. Light grain backbone... herbal/medicinal... sage, ginger, clove, holiday spice, and thyme. Gin-like botanicals without the bite.... some honey sweetness. Medium bodied and sticky on the tongue.
O: A super interesting beer.. a Golden Ale with a strong herbal/medicinal bend. Good mix of flavors.. one I was glad to share as I don't think a huge pour is the way to go with this one.
