Collaboration with Garage Beer Co.
The Garage Beer Co. / Stone Cosmic Island New England IPA is a fruity and juicy hop bomb reminiscent of summer, sun and beautiful Barcelona beaches. The hop bill features Simcoe, Motueka and Callista aroma hops alongside a specifically selected British yeast strain create an out-of-this-world blend of dank hop aromas and tropical flavors with notes of peach and citrus. Oat flakes provide a very soft and pillowy body and mouthfeel that supports the juicy, hoppy character of this New England IPA.

Pours an almost clear, golden amber coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and hoppy tropical fruit notes of pineapple and papaya, with a hint of pine. Taste is a decent balance of light biscuity malt and somewhat resinous, tropical hops, with notes of pineapple, passion fruit and papaya and just a hint of zesty citrus and pine. Finishes with a light/medium bitteress and some tropical notes and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
For some reason Stone just can't seem to get a NEIPA right, even when collaborating with one of Europe's premier brewers of the style. While this is a terrible NEIPA that totally lacks the style's signature look, juiciness and pillowy mouthfeel, it actually makes for a decent IPA though, with a nice balance of biscuity malt, tropical notes and a moderately resinous character and pine.

No me ha parecido NEIPA. Simplemente una ipa bastante bebible pero algo sosa, con alguna nota resinosa, algo de citricos y falta de alma
