Pours an effervescent amber with a thumb of pearl colored head. Decent lacing & head retention
S: Peaches, oranges & grassyness
T: Follows the nose, some green melon & grassyness, plus dryness up front. green melon, peach, apricot & a little sour orange as this warms. Finishes dry with green melon, & sour orange
MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, good balance
Easy drinking IPA that is fairly tasty
edit: this last bottle had a little bit of coconut once warm

Hop Revolver IPA - Sabro
Stone Brewing Co.'s "2019 Rotating Single Hop Series"
"Sabro" is an aroma hop that is notable for its complexity of fruity and citrus flavors. It imparts distinct tangerine, coconut, tropical fruit, and stone fruit aromas, with hints of cedar, mint, and cream. Sabro's pedigree is the result of a unique cross pollination of a female neomexicanus hop.

Part of a variety 12-pack $18.99 Target
Spicy citrus smell
Clear medium-light amber color
Medium mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Citrus tastes, some bitterness, alcohol aftertaste
Overall a great beer. Initially I thought it was ok, but after drinking it again it was great. Maybe it aged a little in my fridge.

Date: Bottled on 03/06/19, consumed on 04/17/19.
Appearance: Nothing wild or unusual here, just a filtered bright gold colored IPA that produces a finger and a half of off white head.
Aroma: Wow, an unusual but very welcome raw unsweetened coconut aroma proceeds the dank herbal hops and sweet biscuit maltiness. I am also getting a little berry aroma in passing.
Taste: The coconut is thankfully just as big on the taste as it was on the nose. I am also getting the familiar Stone dank herbaceous quality along with lemon and honey. The sweeter biscuit like malts merge with some blueberry to give a sweetness to the backend which makes this single hop variant less palate wrecking than most Stone IPAs. A mix of coconut, lemon, honey and herbs may not sound like it should go together, but it does. The mouthfeel is full but never too thick of syrupy. As it warms, the beer seems to become more floral. The coconut element really sets this one apart, Sabro is just another quality old school IPA from one of the most reliable breweries out there.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of floral notes, citrus and sweet caramel. Sweet caramel, citrus and a sharp bitterness.
