On cask at the Real Ale Festival at PP Carlsbad
Appearance is a dark brown hue, nice thick creamy tan head, moderate lacing
Smell is sweet belgian candy, tart fruits, chocolate and bread malts, light booze
Taste is light fruits (pears, apples), and tart sweet candy, transitions to grassy hops and light chocolate malts, finishes sweet and dry, taste is a bit off here
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, watery texture, mild carbonation
Drinkability is low, the fruits and sugars dominate the chocolate which is strange, this definitely has an experimental feel to it, hopefully they can continue to tweak until they get a better balance here
