Pours a malty golden with a slightly musty aroma. Some blueberry, but faded. The flavor is likewise muted, perhaps from this being at the six week point? Underwhelming.

I love mosaic hops, so was not surprised this was a good IPA!

Look: It pours golden and clear with a white head. Head retention is excellent.

Smell: It has light tropical fruits with a bit of melon. There is a low grapefruit note with very low grainy sweetness.

Taste: The flavor is more citrus forward with grapefruit. There is a low melon and tropical element. It has some grainy sweetness and low pine.

Feel: It has a medium body with medium bitterness in the finish.

Overall, a nice balanced IPA with plenty of flavor.

Perfect golden color. Prior review nailed it. Butterscotch. Not a lot of nose for me but that is fine and taste is spot on. Perfectly balanced and not too west coast bitter although I prefer that over this hazy fad. Very drinkable. Well done Stone

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of tropical fruits, pine and toasted caramel. Piney bite with citrus, pineapple and toasted caramel.

golden butterscotch color with lively carbonation. Bypassed the smell test. TASTE? fresh. not as hop forward as a west coast. Taste feels like it came off a Rolls Royce assembly line. First impression is that this is so well balanced, fresh, subdued pine and very subdued bitter orange. Whoever brewed this knows what the hell they're doing. On 2nd fill, creamy head, now it's tasting more west coast, Damn a spicy pizza slice with jalapeno's would rock this into the heavens.

This is a 7.7% ABV IPA with 80 IBUs. I poured it chilled into a pub glass.

Look-It looks like orange blossom honey with its copper and golden colors. The carbonation trails are ample and the head is an off-white khaki with thick wet lacing.

Smell-I smell lemon cakes, caramel malts, along with a floral component and some citrus. The aroma doesn’t jump from the glass like some IPAs.

Taste-I taste a resinous pine, orange peel zest, floral and herbal hops, lemon cakes, some rhubarb pie, a hint of tropical fruits, and dank hops. The taste yields more than the nose let on. It finishes with a sticky resinous coating on the tongue that tastes of pine, dank hops, caramel malts, and a hint of buttered bread. The mouthfeel is on the higher end of medium-bodied, but mostly because of its sticky cloying feel and rich body that isn’t too sweet.

Overall-This is a great IPA and is refreshing. Stone is underrated in my view. They make some great IPAs!

sorry to the haters but I think this is a worthy brew from Stone
L: I'm enjoying it from the bottle so hard to be sure but I trust the other reviewers that it looks good.
S: lemony & dank to this reviewer. it's fine, thank you!
T: delivers on the nose. i taste mostly lemon, bit of tropical. sticky, piney, lingering. Fine by me!
F: smooth and rich.
O: I say "hell yeah!" Just go get it! I found it only in a mix pack, so go forth & find it!
