This is a 7.7% ABV IPA with 80 IBUs. I poured it chilled into a pub glass.

Look-It looks like orange blossom honey with its copper and golden colors. The carbonation trails are ample and the head is an off-white khaki with thick wet lacing.

Smell-I smell lemon cakes, caramel malts, along with a floral component and some citrus. The aroma doesn’t jump from the glass like some IPAs.

Taste-I taste a resinous pine, orange peel zest, floral and herbal hops, lemon cakes, some rhubarb pie, a hint of tropical fruits, and dank hops. The taste yields more than the nose let on. It finishes with a sticky resinous coating on the tongue that tastes of pine, dank hops, caramel malts, and a hint of buttered bread. The mouthfeel is on the higher end of medium-bodied, but mostly because of its sticky cloying feel and rich body that isn’t too sweet.

Overall-This is a great IPA and is refreshing. Stone is underrated in my view. They make some great IPAs!

A - Copper gold color with beautiful clarity and nice thick, creamy bright white foam sitting on top.

S - Dank tropical fruit and pine with sticky floral.

T - Berry, some light tropical fruit, and sticky pine. Finishes on the bittersweet side and resiny with a lingering spicy, sticky pine coating the mouth.

M - Thick, a little bit oily, and very dry on the palate.

O - Really enjoying this IPA.

Did they sneak an Enjoy By clone in the “Fanatics” 12 packs? This baby is damn close...hoppy, dank, hits all the right notes for a Stone IPA! Too bad their are only four in the package!!!!

Look: Slightly hazy Amber with a dense, cream-colored head.
Smell: Intense dank hop aroma. Mango, peach, orange, onion.
Taste: Same as the smell. Strong hop bitterness that feels smooth instead of harsh. Tropical fruit juiciness.
Feel: Medium/full-bodied, slightly syrupy.
Overall: Intense and wonderfully bitter. Another great IPA from Stone.

Handsome clear amber brew with long-lasting foam in the tall Jack Daniels glass. Quite aromatic with tangerine and hay, but also earthy. Resiny and bitter taste. Odd herbal and candy flavor after that. Hints of cats and citrus and the compost bin.

Well, this is the dank stuff. It would be better without the persistent aftertaste of something from homebrew days, like when you add that hit of cane sugar to up the alcohol a little. Sharp on top of the sweetness. Dark, bitter, and mineral aftertaste with the persistent dank aromatics. From the 22 oz bottle.

Poured from a bottle - looks, smells and tastes like WC IPA. No surprises. At first I thought "meh", then I quaffed a few and thought "hmmm". Wouldn't hesitate to drink again.

Have we really reached the point where I’m overly content having an average IPA over some over saturated junker? I mean, complacency is death, ya know? And Raul doesn’t want to get there. Raul wants to be considered the Steve Jobs of Beer Advocate, ya feel me? Like always at the forefront and doing something new. And right here, we pretty much have a iPhone 6 in in iPhone X world. It’ll do the trick, but it won’t make honeys flock when you whip it out.
