not much here, not detecting honey or a solid blonde, so many better choices here from stone.

I am trying a pint of this beer off the tapper at Union Street Pub in the United Airlines terminal at the San Francisco Airport. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had subtle grain and bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright crisp malt base with very dry finishing g hop presence. I do not get much honey. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

12/15/22 On tap at Longhorn Steakhouse in Washington, PA. It is listed as the House Golden Ale, but the keg label says brewed by Premium & Smooth Beer Company, Escondido, CA.....Stone Brewing.
Keg was dated 7/7/22.
Smell had a strong metallic overtone. Taste followed. Too long sitting in keg?
Sweet and bready. Honey notes as well. A thin, below average beer here.

Stepping down from their high hops, Stone Brewing shies away from their West Coast roots to make an oddly sensible, sessionable, easy drinking blonde ale at least for a moment. With a hint of honey, the beer is smooth enough for any occasion and any time of day.
Medium gold and nearly bright in clarity, House Honey Blond builds a creamy cottony froth while leading the nose with cereal grains, floral honey and a peppery hop scent. While the taste of Honey Smacks cereal is front and center as the ale hits the palate, its malt influence is firm but softly sweet.
As the ale splashes against the middle palate, its creamy, cereal quality holds serve while the honey additions double down on its flowery, nectar-like sweetness. Creamy and delicate, the malts invite a mild hop balance to permeate the balance, bringing a mild citrusy, peppery and herbal taste to the the late palate.
Medium light in body, the blond ale is firmer than standard pilsner but still has a lager-like ease to its taste, finishing with a citrusy, spicy hop bite that outlasts the honey and grain ever so slightly.
