Had this beer on cask at the Meddlesome Moth. Not sure how many casks of this are out there but I know Stone has some at their Bistro and there is at least one in Dallas.
The beer pours black with a nice brown head. The aroma is chocolate, roasted malt and quite a bit of oak. The flavor is similar with a lot of woody oak notes as well as dark chocolate, roasted malts, fudge and some vanilla and darker fruits. Low carbonation and a thick mouthfeel. Having this beer on cask was excellent and the fact it was an oaked version was even better.
