DArk black pour, light tan head. A brutal dose of hops in the nose mixed with alcohol and burnt malt. Sweet malt and bitter hops play tug of war in the middle; the hops win. As the beer warms the dark roasted malt pushes back, but this still the hop show. Dry, long, and bitter finish. Not for every occasion and not for the timid.|9/29/2012

Excellent beer. High marks across the board. I'm not a big ipa fan, but rather more of a dark beer drinker. I can never rate an IPA as a perfect beer. But this one is the BEST IPA I'VE EVER HAD. Excellent, very complex beer. Highly recommend to anyone who loves dark beers and enjoys IPAs.
