Had at Toronado last night. Apparently this was a one-off brew to raise money for disaster relief efforts. Nobody was quite sure what to classify it as, but it most resembled an amber.
Pours a crystal clear amber with a small very creamy head and lots of lacing.
Slightly citrus smell with some biscuit and caramel tones.
Taste is about the same although the hops are a bit more subdued in the flavor. Just enough to let you know they are there. Lots of good bready/caramel flavors throughout the palate.
Medium mouthfeel and slightly less than average carbonation. This is an incredibly easy drinking amber ale.
