Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades very fast, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is light overall, with notes of honey and wheat along with some notes of herbal and pine hop. At the same time there is a bit of hay and some other light grains and orange.
Taste – The taste is of a light honey and grainy malt flavor upfront with a little bit of herbal flavor and a bit of wheat and orange peel. As the taste advances some light caramel and more herb come to the tongue, and with a bit of hay and some light toast, one is left with a somewhat grainy and lightly sweet taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium to light with a mild carbonation level, both of which suit the more subtle tastes of the brew rather well.
Overall – An OK brew, but nothing super exceptional.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the Yard House in Rancho Mirage, California. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle orange peel citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with slight bitter orange citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
