Really interesting growler fill thanks again to rudzud.
Big fluffy 2 finger head leaves lots if spotty lacing, slight hazy auburn cranberry red color.
Nose huge ginger, fresh ginger, light floral hops, little grassy, hint of copper amber malts, touch of caramel.
Taste more ginger, fresh ginger again, this time more of the original pale ale, citrus, floral hops and light grassy some bitterness, then sweet caramel malts, light toasty. Nice pale ale and ginger balance unlike the nose. Finish is semi dry, nice lingering bitter floral hops, light citrus and lingering ginger, fair bitterness.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb.
Overall pretty nice, flavor is what I want, nice pale ale with citrus floral hops and good malt blend with the nice ginger, nose is just all ginger and very little beer.

Shared with JLindros and Duffy.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a clear light copper hue with a nice two finger head that leaves sticky lacing and thin clouding.
S - Aromas of fresh ginger root galore sweet malts, light hop notes.
T - Taste is sweet malts, light caramel, ginger root, light bitter hops. Lightly bitter finish with good lingering ginger slice finish.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp and drinkable.
O - Overall, this was a solid beer, good ginger notes. Tasty

On tap at Blue Palms' 5th anniversary in Hollywood, CA.
You know that commercial? "We want more, we want more, like, we want more!" Cute girl, Raul totally gets it. And Stone ginger is pretty good. But like said commercial, Raul ain't no 8 year old and he don't "want more."
It's good. Smooth even. But more than 5 ounces - nope! I like it, but like that psycho Raul dated in the 10th grade - next!
