Served from a growler filled by the brewery. Poured into a Smuttynose pint glass. Thanks OneBeertoRTA!

Appearance- Standard copper/golden color often found in IPAs. Thin, quick, off-white head that dissipated rather quickly.

Smell- Caramel malts, hot pepper, and floral fruity hops. Thats about it. But it is rather nice.

Taste- Habanero. Spicey. Some malty backbone with a hop kick, but the habanero is the key player here.

Mouthfeel- Very spicey. Nicely carbonated. Full bodied and smooth.

Overall- I really like this. I'm glad that I got this. It's still quite spicy.

On cask at Haven Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.

Pours a clear honey orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thick foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, citrus fruit, and some pepper aromas. Taste is much the same with a medium amount of pepper heat on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that has some interesting aromas and flavors.
