On tap at Liberty Station, and listed as being brewed at that location rather than in Escondido.
Great piney aroma and full of aromatics. Color is the usual orangey amber. Not much foam, and it flattens out to a clear glassful without a swirl in sight. A vague toasty malt flavor, but mostly it's just the hops. Hugely and relentlessly bitter, but redeemed slightly by the fragrance.
Very sharp and on the acidic side, with a surprisingly thin body. Overall this is worth a deep inhale, but a couple of sips are more than enough except for the most hardened hophead.
