Found this one on draft at the Dark Horse brewery last week. I know that the name sounds like Saison, but it's definitely a Belgian. The bartender was too busy to talk much, but she just said "it's a belgian ale." Based on my experience, I would call it a Strong Pale Ale.
Anyway, had this one after the Double Crooked Tree, so my taste buds were not 100%.
Poured a nice looking orangey golden with a big head. The bartender poured off tons of foam. I could not smell the beer at all even though their bar is non-smoking. Whatever aromas it has are very mild. Taste is belgian candy sugar and mild yeast with a big malty backbone. Very sweet, but not enough to be hard to drink.. Mouthfeel was great and the beer is very drinkable. Definitely worth a try if you are near the brewery, I was very happy with it.
