Had on draft at the brewery for the crawfish boil.
A-pours a dirty dark brown liquid with a tight khaki colored head.
S-the nose is light, nutty roasted malts with hints of herbal ester in the back.
T-the taste is more full, lots of nutty flavors up front, roasted bread rolls, notes of dough, lightly roasted malt, faint herbal hop in the back.
M-smooth, creamy, syrupy body, soft on the tongue, moderate to light carbonation balancing nicely on this medium bodied beer.
D-nice drink, lots of malt flavors with enough sweetness to balance the big roasted bready flavors, also has an interesting nutty component to it that really makes it tasty.
