Had on tap at the Crawfish Boil.
A-pours a cloudy reddish copper color with a light tan colored head.
S-lots of bourbon and oak in the nose, hint of vanilla, a yeast banana aroma behind with a touch of acetone and notes of a floral spice.
T-again lots of bourbon and oak, a little too much, light vanilla notes, alcohol and acetone are mild on the middle of the palate, banana and yeast flavors meld in the back, herbal floral spice to it and slightly hot in the finish.
M-smooth feel to it on a medium body with well done carbonation, slightly syrpupy and coats the mouth.
D-has some nice components of a standard tripel but the barrel aging is too storng and seems to beat other flavors down as they try to emerge.
