If you have this beer cellared, I think it improved since last year. The 13% is well hidden too. I think the beer is exactly what the brewer was seeking when brewing it, except that there is no bourbon barrel character. It tastes exactly like figs, so if you don't like figs, don't drink this beer and rate it low just because you don't like the fig flavor.
