Had on tap at the brewery.
A: Pours brown with little head.
S: Slight roasted malt a hint of chocolate and bit of nuttiness.
T: Roasted malt upfront followed by very slight chocolate and only a hint of nuttiness. I don't get the chocolate or hazlenut as expected.
M: Somewhat thin. More like a brown ale than a porter. The oils from the nuts must have affected the carbonation.
O: Just an OK beer.

Draft at Dark Horse.
Heavy brown nearly black, solid frothy off white head.
Earthy roast and a heavy dose of dark chocolate, cocoa.
Taste is not as roasty. Tons of chocolate, dark chocolate and a nuttiness. Cocoa finish, pretty dry.
Lighter side of mid bodied. A thin carbonation lets this slide down real easy. Maybe just a bit thin.
Was glad to sample this and Icee Black on my visit.
