On tap at the Michigan Brewer's Guild Summer Festival 2011. Apparently this beer was a blend of all 5 beers in the stout series. Awesome.

Appearance
Dark black with really no head. We had this one side by side with BA Plead The 5th, which made this beer look like dirty water. It's still a nice, dark stout though.

Aroma
My notes were taken before I knew for certain that this was a blend of all 5 stouts (the guys at the booth weren't gonna spill the beans) but I still was reminded of both Tres Blueberry Stout and Fore Smoked Stout. There was a lot of ashy smoke and a very high level of roastiness found in this aroma. Charcoal is almost and understatement.

Taste
Again, very roasty, ashy and smokey. This is an intensely deep beer loaded with roasted barley. Fruitness takes a back seat to the burnt malt.

Mouthfeel
Not really that thick in the body. The carbonation is low.

Overall
Pretty aggressively roasted. I really think that Tres and Fore stick out the most here, which is kind of a shame. They are my least favorite 2 of the series. Still, this was a good enough beer.
