Shout out to Jim for sharing this one.
A - Brown colored beer with a bit of a tan head that left some random spots and stick behind.
S - Caramel malts, brown sugar, some apple smell. If they're going for caramel apples I'd say they did a pretty good job of it, as it does remind me of a caramel apple.
T - A sweet beer, but that's about what you would expect. Sweet caramel, and some appley taste, perhaps like a cider. Given the combination, it is reminiscent of a caramel apple. It tastes good, but it's pretty one noted, and if you aren't really into sweet stuff this can get old.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a creamy feel.
O - Gimmick beers that work and don't taste bad are generally positive things. This is an easy drinker and pretty well done for what it is.

Thanks, jale! Poured into Narke tulip.
Thanks to Jim (jale) for bring this growler to the West Lakeview Liquors pig roast. Served in a Glunz taster glass.
A - Pours a lighter brown color, off-white head, thin collar, wisps.
S - Burnt sugars, caramel, malts, slight fruity sweetness. I get both caramel and apple from this one, which is a really nice combo bringing back memories of those yummy caramel apples.
T - Brown sugar, malts, light fruity apple. I can taste the caramel and apple combo a lot more then I could pick it up on the nose. No alcohol detection, nice sweet sugary finish.
M - Medium, good carbonation for the style, creamy sweet finish.
O - I really enjoyed this one and it was perfect for a fall day outside during the Kristina's Pig Roast. I'm a fan of brown ales and the apple twist was really interested and worked well.

A - Thin tan foam settles to an even thinner cap, leaving spotty lace. Transparent caramel brown body, appropriately enough.
S - Caramel, chocolate, roasted grains. Not picking up any apple - mostly smells like a generic brown ale.
T - The taste features a bit more in the way of tart under-ripe apples, mingling with caramel and toasty malts. Surprisingly attenuated for a beer with this name. No obvious alcohol.
M - Medium-full body, moderate-to-low carbonation, dry, toasty body, and a clean finish.
D - Compared to Dark Horse's other offerings this beer was surprisingly subtle and understated. Not bad, just kind of dull. Probably wouldn't bother with this one again.
