750ml kept cellered since the magnificent 4Elf party (12/10/11). No abv or date information on the bottle.
Looks totally flat, zero sign of carbonation on the pour. Body is a light opaque brown with orange highlights.
Aroma is very strongly bourbon and coffee, light acidic notes.
Flavor is much more mellow than the aroma and blended very well. Light to moderate oakiness. Wouldn't say this leans either way on the dry/sweet scale. Flavor doesn't linger very long.
Totally lacking carbonation. Mouthfeel is on the thin side. Mild bite from the alcohol but not bothersome.
Hopefully this gets carbonated over time. I have a nother bottle but this beer is hardly worth drinking unless it carbs up at some point. Right now it is almost like watering down some coffee and putting a little bourbon in it

Looks a bit under standard. It has a lack of head development, a low carbonation, almost undercarbbed.
Smells lightly alcoholic, volatile, faint bourbon molasses. Bite of evaporated beer.
Flavors of juniper, vegetal hops, earthy, light funk. It has distinct sweetness of molasses and a finish of light coffee bitterness.
Barrel aging over thinned this out. Very unfortunate but thanks Jay!
