This is from memory, so some of this is purely instinct, but I know I like this brew waaay lots. Just recently had this mid June at the brewery. Loved it from the get go. Really terrific, light-ish, ale...what I imagine a session ale should be. I remember the hop notes very distinctive, light but prominent, or over expressed. My friend returned days later to find the bottom had been reached. A really terrific brew that I was unimaginably dumb in not getting the growler that very day. Would love the crew at Dark Horse to do another run: announce it loudly on their web-site and I'm there!

Served from the tap in a pint glass, at the Dark Horse brewery pub in Marshall MI. The bartender indicated it was a single-hop IPA featuring only Amarillo hops. Hence the name is Amarillo spelled backwards.

Appears a clear orange copper color with thin white head. nice big aroma of citrus and herbal hop flavors. same hop notes dominate the taste, but enough malt is present to back it up . well balanced. medium carbonation and body, fairl smooth to drink. lingering aftertaste. overall - a nice IPA.
