Much thanks to hopdog for sharing this growler...
Appears a minight black with a small, dark tan head that slowly fades out into a mild cap. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of oaky bourbon right up front, with cocoa, concord grapes, and ripe fruit.
Taste is of hearty wood, bitter cocoa, and more bourbon coming through.
Mouthfeel is full bodied, with oaky tannins sticking to the palate, along with some bitter, herbal hops stinging the tongue on the way down.

Growler acquired in trade (thanks!).
Poured a dark black color with brown edges and a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of wood/oaky, vanilla, chocolate, some bourbon, and dark fruits. Tastes of lots of oakiness, woody, lighter bourbon, roasty, and dark fruits. I'd say this one was more woody vs. bourbon. Alcohol well hidden.
