Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a ruddy brown, with a cream-colored head that literally fizzed like a soda.

Had a metallic smell, overlying a mild malt. Quite unpleasant. Metallic smell disapates, only to be replaced by a straw smell.

Tastes like tepid dishwater, with very little malt, hop, or other taste. There is a slight hint of a sweet malt underneath, but it is overwhelmed by the taste of wet grass. As I get further into it, it develops a slightly bitter/sour aftertaste to balance out the sweet malt.

Mouthfeel is thin and limp, with no more complexity than a glass of water. After the initialy fizziness, it had absolutley no carbonation.

While it went from horrid to simply forgetable as it breathed, I still don't see me finishing this. There simply isn't enough happening with this beer to hold my interest.

The Secret Bunny, a.k.a. csmiley dropped this in my Easter basket. Looks like I am the first to give it a review, as well! Pours a nice ruby red, with a one finger white head. Exceptional clarity, but little lacing as the head recedes. A nice sweet and toasted malt nose, nothing to pungent. Hits the style right on the head again with a toasted malt flavor, and little to no hop presence. Just enough balance of the toasted malt to balance the sweetness out. Decent carbonization, rest easy in the mouth. In the end, an exceptionally easy drinking beer, and hit the mark for the style. This is a style I do not drink much of, but enjoyed trying. I tried not to knock the beer for something it is not supposed be, and it is a great session beer.
