I expected something worse but it was not as bad as your usual happoshu is. Had a bit of a hop-like flavor to it and a feel that reminded me of a low quality beer - nonetheless all of these together still tastes and feels more legitimate than a happoshu that usually is cr@p. Here the question is: is it really a happoshu or is it just labeled so by Japan, as it is an import from Korea and it - for some reason - does not meet the Japanese standards and for that, they call it happoshu. Hey, I have seen Belgian beer called happoshu in Japan! Maybe this one is just a plain Korean lager, probably.
