Sampled from a bottle at Der Pelikan bar in Bamberg, Germany.
This "malty aromatic lager" poured a clear, golden color with tall, white foam that persisted and clung to the glass -- the head was quite beautiful. The smell was cereal and malt with light hoppiness and a touch of floral hops aroma. There was also a faint aroma of corn or DMS. The taste was lager-malty with a touch of light cereal grain sweetness together with some floral hops. The mouthfeel was crisp with medium body and grood carbonation. A light malty flavor and some floral hops lingered in the aftertaste. This was a good beer.
