Half-litre flip-top bottle: best before 30 Jan 2012. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard @ home on 5th Nov 2012.
Pale golden body, bright, clean and very clear: full, deep snow white head on top, which turned into a wisp and collar after a while.
Nose of grains and a hint of bread yeastiness: grassy with the grains and a whiff of biscuity/shortbread maltiness.
The taste was delicate and difficult to nail down: grains again, some hop bitterness towards the finish and a crisp, tangy body feel throughout, all added up to a pleasant lunchtime beer. Can't pretend it was full of flavours, but it did test my tasting skills as I tried to pick up on the make up of the brew.
Half way down the beer I had some peppered German Salami, Tomatoes and White crusty bread with the beer and they complimented each other nicely. The review was written before my taste buds got hit by the salami by the way!.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
