Sampled at the Nicholson's Tavern in Cincy from an Imperial Tulip Pint. Cask was of unknown age at service.
Light copper ale with a fair clarity and a low white loose head.
Aroma is of lemons with a touch of caramel corn in the finish.
Flavor is of malt spiced with a free hand at the cinnamon shaker. Lurking behind the cinnamon is another hint of the caramel corn.
Finish is clean with just a little residual sweetness dancing on the tongue before the end of the sip.

Brewed under contract to Nicholson's Pub in downtown Cincinnati. This appears to be a fine Scottish style firkin ale. Very smooth and creamy, the brew has some typical watery sense. This beer also has a substantial hop bite and seems to give just a slight sense of floral notes. Amber color with a thin off-white head and light lacing effect. Alcohol content seems moderately high, perhaps in the 6 to 7 ABV range. Good beer.
