A- Orange copper color with a very small head and minimimal lacing.

S- Pumpkin pie spices jump out with a small malty sweetness joining along with it.

T- The pumpkin pie spices once again are the most noticeable in this beer. Most notably cinnamon and clove seem to dominate the taste. All and all, the taste is a little diluted and the pumpkin taste is not as big as it could be. I feel like the base of this beer is a little weak and the use of pumpkin pie spices is somewhat a cover up for the rest of the beer, but all around not too bad.

M- Thin to medium mouthfeel, nice for the style.

D- Easy to drink and would be nice for fall.

Poured a nice clear golden honey color with a 1/4 head that quickly disappeared with not much lacing.
As the label states, brewed with pumpkin, nutmeg and clove...and they are just the right amount!
Better than most other pumpkin brews I've tried, too bad it's only seasonal and it is hard to find!!. Hopefully some of the local stores will realize that there is a market for beer besides BL
Since it's a little on the light side, it would
be easy to drink a few in a session.

Wooden Shoe is located in New Bremen Ohio and is also home to the Worlds Largest Pumpkin Pie (12' 4" - 2020 lbs!)History is located on the label on back of bottle.

The beer is actually brewed and bottled at the Elevator Brewing Co in Columbus OH.

Since the Anderson's Store closed in Lima, it's getting harder to find micro's but I happen to be in Dayton, OH so I went to the Belmont Party Shop on South Smithville Rd just a couple miles south of SR 35. If you've never been there it's worth the drive, they are ranked #1 or #2 in the USA for largest selection. Just about any micro you've heard of (also in singles), wine, liquer and they just opened up a home brew store next door loaded with anything you need to make your own.
