Pros : Nice atmosphere. The food trucks they bring in are usually quite good. The owner Kelly is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Nice outdoor stage and seating.
Cons: Beer is mediocre. Sometimes it is good, sometimes its flat and full of undesirable esters. If you want an enjoyable evening sitting outside with adult friends, do not go on a Friday or Saturday night. People bring their kids and let them run rampant. Scooters, bikes, yelling and screaming are the norm and you will not have a privacy bubble.

First the beer. Very solid choices that are (almost) always on tap. People seem to love SAB's Copperhead Amber (just not my favorite style). They have craft beer with training wheels, carrying a solid pilsner, then move up to a Belgian blonde. They have terrific IPA and stout. SAB is doing some more with barrell aging, turning some of their regular brews into very special small batch creations. Bourbon barrel aged stouts, raspberry saisons, sour blondes all have been fun and quite tasty.
SAB is very much a local hangout in Hendersonville. I wish more out-of-towners, like me, knew about it. There is a good crowd of locals that show up regularly for fellowship and music. There is music multiple days each week, featuring some really fun bands. Sound system is good for a small space that happens to be a brewery, which usually do not make accoustically good venues. They also hosts some very good food trucks for noms.
SAB hosts a number of festivals too, from antiques to Oktoberfests. In the spring they hold a great rally for vintage motorcycles, The Meltdown. If you like old Triumphs, Beezas & Bimmers, check it out.
In good weather, they have a nice outdoor space for fun and games. Yes, there often are a lot of kids but I like that family vibe.
In summary, good music, good food, fine folks and friendly, helpful staff (the service is quite good). And did I mention, the beers are consistently tasty!

All of their beers have a strong flavoring of dirty socks. Seriously, first few sips you have to choke down. Then, you gett hella drunk because they misrepresent the abv and you find yourself with the (litetally) worst headache ever after just 3 beers. Too much sugar, sticky beer. Dog friendly that's cool, toooo many children though. Day care facility. SAB - southern Appalachian daycare

Great place to bring the entire family. Kid and dog friendly. Will definitely be returning. The beer is great too. Nice variety. Hidden gem in Hendersonville.

This is a great little brewery with lots of potential. The guests have plenty of room to spread out inside the brewery and they often have live music. The service was good just a few people working the bar and guests just had to find seating for themselves which is perfect for a brewery and adds to the comfortable, relaxed, casual atmosphere. They have 7 or so classic styles the ones I tried were good on first visit not too long after they first opened. Since then the beer has gotten better and better with every and visit the prices are very fair. The food isn't special but that's a non-issue because they aren't trying to be a restaurant, they're a brewery. I really like this place it has such a great local feel.
