[Appearance: 3.25] This one is a thick dark brown with just a little lighter brown coming in at the edges. The medium brown head forms a creamy layer that lasts for a while before fading out and leaving edging, some thin and scattered spotting, and some scattered legs sparsely distributed.
[Aroma: 4.0] The cherries are tart but not heavy or puckering, and that tartness shows in way that's unusually devoid of sourness. A touch of sweetness does come through, backed by some roasted malt that holds without overtaking it.
[Flavor: 4.0] The taste is much the same; cherries roll on the tongue. They roll back, forth and all over it, but gently. Roast is in the back, bigger flavors held in check to let the cherry shine.
[Mouthfeel: 3.75] The body might just reach full. It's crisp and almost fluffy. It has a nice smoothness, but a little is taken off at the end as a roasty dryness builds up on the tongue.
