This was an overall solid beer.
The appearance was a dark ruby color with brown highlights. The offwhite head was beautiful and discipated into a sticky lace.
The smell was of cinniamon and orange with a few other spices. THere was a sweet malty smell there also.
The taste was sweet with subtle spices. A faint hop flavor mixed well with the spices in this beer.
The mouth feel was about average, nice carbonation and mouthfeel.
Very drinkable, very drinkable. It was almost like their Blitzens Holiday Ale but just a little less spicy. A very good winter beer.
