A: A thick medium-dark orange brew is topped with a compact creamy white head that leaves moderate lace.
S: Going into this without realizing it's a sour is a bit of a surprise. Tartness is up front with bit of citrus, mostly zest with a little juiciness, meshes with a touch of alcohol and a bit of a vanilla note. Nice, good strength
T: It drinks like a beer but the liqueur is evident. It's tart all the way through. Some orange zest rides over malts while some juiciness rolls underneath, a hint of bitterness from hops to counter vanilla sweetness. The flavor runs semi-dry on the palate into the finish.
F: The body is medium and there's a dryness from not only the sour element, which also somehow keeps it juicy, but also from the alcohol. Given that, it doesn't dry too much and there's no astringency. Crisp and smooth from start to end.
