Poured from a bomber into a shaker. A moderate pour brings on about a 3/4 inch head that proves pretty sticky. The beer is a pale, slightly ruddy golden color with light carbonation.
Light floral hops and some fruitiness in the nose. The flavor is slightly sweet and a little spicy with undertones suggestive perhaps of watermelon rind and very light citrus. The alcohol content of this beer is well hidden beyond the fruity esters. The malty backbone comes through more as you savor it, with a building citrusy hop bitterness on the tongue to balance.
This is a very refreshing beer and surprisingly light in body considering the high ABV. Very well worth a try.
